Advanced Skin & Coat Support for Dogs
Feeding Directions
This Scientifically Formulated Skin & Coat Solution Includes the Following Active Ingredients per Soft Chew
Fish Oil – 200mg
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, these oils hydrate and support the skin.
Linoleic Acid – 50mg
An omega-6 fatty acid, linoleic acid hydrates hair and improves its quality while nourishing the skin and helping it to retain moisture.
Choline – 2mg
Helps to maintain the proper level of B vitamins that help in the production of energy, collagen and elastin, which are essential for firm and smooth skin. It’s antioxidant properties also help to preserve the skins elasticity and prevent free radical damage to skin cells.
Inositol – 100mcg
Promotes healthy hair and skin – a deficiency may lead to hair loss. Inositol helps to keep fats from collecting in the body, particularly in the liver. Inositol is efficient in converting nutrients into energy. The highest levels of Inositol concentrations are found in the heart and brain; inositol works with neurotransmitters in message circulation.
Vitamin A – 1500 IU
Necessary for proper vision, especially night vision. Important in bone growth, reproduction, and maintenance of tissues such as the lungs, intestines and skin.
Vitamin D3 – 300 IU
Critical to the dog’s ability to use calcium and phosphorus for bone and cartilage growth and maintenance.
Vitamin E – 25 IU
An Antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative damage. Especially important for muscular and reproductive function. Is helpful during times of stress. Is abundant in fresh foods, but is killed during the high temperature processing of dog foods.
Zinc – 2mg
Important in the metabolism of several vitamins, particularly the B-vitamins. Zinc is also a component of several enzymes needed for digestion and metabolism and it promotes healing as well. Your dog needs zinc for proper coat health. Some breeds of dogs have problems with absorption and/or utilization of zinc. These dogs develop poor hair coats and dry, scaly skin with sores particularly on the nose and mouth, and stiff joints unless they are supplemented with zinc.
